World Expo 2005 – Singapore Pavilion

De Claffer Music / Chee Wei TAY was commissioned as the Audio and Music director for the Singapore Pavilion of the World Expo 2005, held in Aichi, Nagoya Japan.

The World Expo is a major international event that takes place twice a decade. The event showcases pavilions by most nations of the world to aid in intercultural exchange and understanding for the betterment of the world.

One of the feature presentations within the Singapore Pavilion is “Urban Nature”: A Visual and Music Spectacle about a day in Singapore from Sunrise to Sunset that’s projected on a giant 10m×5m screen, revealing the multi-faceted lives of Singapore, with all its richness and surprises.
Enjoy the weather, atmosphere, and mood of being in Singapore for a day.

Audience get to See, hear, feel a misty morning fog, a glorious tropical rainstorm with lightning, thunder and sparkling city lights.

Originally mixed for a customized 9.1 discrete surround channels for the Exhibition.
