51st Houston Worldfest Remi Award Nominations for De Claffer Music / CheeWei TAY

It seems like the awards season for 2018 has begun for CheeWei and De Claffer Music!

The first batch of Houston International Film Festival nominations have been announced! This year, at least four titles that De Claffer Music worked on have been nominated for Remi awards, including some that are also nominated in the ‘Best Music Score’ Categories – Route Awakening (Series 3), Route Awakening Trailer (Series 3), NOVA: Treasures of the Earth – Gems and My Mother’s Story

“Route Awakening (series 3)” and Route Awakening Trailer (Series 3) are broadcast documentary series produced by Sitting In Pictures (Singapore) for National Geographic Channel.

“Treasures of the Earth – Gems” is part of the longest running American Science Television Series NOVA, produced / directed by Doug Hamilton for WGBH Boston/PBS

“My Mother’s Story” is a Autobiographical series produced by The Moving Visuals Co. for Mediacorp (Singapore).

CheeWei provided the music score for all the nominated titles! 

The Worldfest Houston International Film Festival is one of the oldest and largest film competitions in the world, with more than 4,500 entries received. It is renowned for discovering the likes of Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee and David Lynch by giving them their first honours.

The 51st Worldfest Houston International Film Festival will be held 20th April – 29th April 2018. The results and category of awards will be announced at the Awards Gala Presentation on 29th April 2018. For more information, click here
